In Spring 1985, for 40 consecutive days, every morning at 7 o'clock, the Manhattan skyline was photographed from exactly the same position on Staten Island.

Here the theme is not the photographic quality of the single picture, but the variety of atmospheres at the beginning of each new day, shown as a series.

Nobody could imagine then, that today this could be considered an hommage to the Twin Towers.
